Underneath Your Sofa

Dear LS,

I hope the sofa stays. We don't need a sofa with no space for me to chill out underneath. In future I promise not to ambush your visitors' feet from underneath when they are seated on the sofa.

xoxoxo
Happy

You're a song
Brought in by the hands of Ikea men
Don't get me wrong cause
This might sound to you a bit odd
But you own the place
Where all my thoughts go hiding
And right under your sofa
Is where I find them

Underneath Your Sofa
There's an endless story
There's the spot I chose
There's my territory
And all the space I deserve
For being such a good girl honey

Because of you
I forgot the smart ways to lie
Because of you
I'm running out of space to try
When the friends are gone
When the party's over
We will still belong to each other

Underneath Your Sofa
There's an endless story
There's the spot I chose
There's my territory
And all the space I deserve
For being such a good girl honey

I love you more than all that's on the planet
Movin' talkin' walkin' breathing
You know it's true
Oh baby it's so funny
You almost don't believe it
As every voice is hanging from the silence
Lamps are hanging from the celing
Like a lady to her good manners
I'm tied up to this feeling

Underneath Your Sofa
There's an endless story
There's the spot I chose
There's my territory
And all the space I deserve
For being such a good girl honey

Hope these clips of Tom & Jerry start off
your week with some humour.

P/s: Shakira, I hope you don't mind I've tweaked your song a bit. It's for a good cause!

17th December - Act Of Kindness

I'm not good with words, so here are some songs to make up for it. Hope this will create more awareness and serve as reminder to all of us on how we can make this world a better place.

Feed the world...Let them know it's Christmas time again...

We are the ones who make a brighter day so let's start giving...

I'll stand by you...I'll stand by you...

Voices That Care

This song is specially dedicated to Peanut and daddy.

Lonely fear lights up the sky,
Can't help but wonder why
You're so far away.
There, you had to take a stand
In someone else's land,
Life can be so strange.
I wish we never had to choose,
To either win or lose,
That we could find a way...
But I won't turn my back again,
Your honor I'll defend
So hurry home, and 'til then...

Chorus:
Stand tall; Stand proud!
Voices that care are crying out loud.
And when you close your eyes tonight,
Feel in your heart how our love burns bright.

I'm not here to justify the cause.
Or to count up all the loss...
That's all been done before.
I just can't let you feel alone.
When there's so much love at home
We're sending out to you.
All the courage that you've known
The bravery you've shown,
Clearly lights the way.
We pray! To make the future bright,
To make the wrong things right,
Right or wrong, we're all praying you remain strong
That's why we're all here and singing along.

(repeat chorus)

You are the voice
You are the light

(repeat chorus twice)

ET, So if I say save me, saaaaaaaaave me!

One of the greatest 80s songs from your countrymen, ET.

As much as I love this song, I still can't figure out what the song meant. Anyone?

There For Me

It's funny how certain songs evoke certain feelings and memories in all of us. This is one song that does that to me. No, not the lovey dovey feeling but a wonderful memory of the good old days when life was more carefree *feeling wistful now* ...

Anyway, this is a great song from Sarah Brightman. Anyone a fan of The Phantom of The Opera? I am!!
