Thankful Thursday

LS:

There's so much to be thankful for, even in the form of this email from my boss. It sure gave me quite a chuckle and help me to stay above water, especially when I'm stressed out with year end and what not.

Psalm 23
(For the Work Place)

The Lord is my real boss, and I shall not want.
He gives me peace, when chaos is all around me.
He gently reminds me to pray and do all things without
murmuring and complaining.

He reminds me that He is my source and not my job.
He restores my sanity everyday and guides my decisions
that I might honor Him in all that I do.

Even though I face absurd amounts of e-mails, system
crashes, unrealistic deadlines, budget cutbacks, gossiping
co-workers, discriminating supervisors and an aging body
that doesn't cooperate every morning, I still will not stop---
for He is with me! His presence, His peace, and His power
will see me through.

He raises me up, even when they fail to promote me.
He claims me as His own, even when the company threatens
to let me go. His Faithfulness and love is better than any bonus cheque

His retirement plan beats any 401k there is!
When it's all said and done, I'll be working for Him a whole lot longer
and for that

I BLESS HIS NAME!!!!!!

A Happy and Thankful Dog on Thursday

All of you were right, I met a friend! A new friend!

Isn't she sweet?

On another happy note, we received this friendship award from Sugar and would like to share with everyone, simply because LS and I truly appreciate your friendship.

Thank you Sugar!

Friends are so much to be thankful for, isn't it? The joy of meeting friends, new and old, and the blessings of their friendship.

I'm so thankful to have met so many wonderful friends. Although we have lost some along the way, their memory will always live on.

What are you thankful for? Hope everyone is having a thankful time!

A Walk after the Rain

Finally I get to go for a walkie after such a long spell of rain. Does it rain as much at your place?

I was walking along...

Then I started to run...

Can you guess why?

Talk to the paw

The weather has been really gloomy and wet. Although there's no interesting pieces on sunrise, sunset or blue skies, watching darkening skies can be interesting too.

Rain clouds looming

Bright lining on an otherwise dark horizon

Think LS got tired of watching the darkened sky because after a while she said to me, "Hey Happy, how about one for the camera?"

And I replied...

"Talk to the paw"

It's nice to be chilling out, away from the camera flashes, don't you think?

Have a great weekend everyone!

We're participating in Skywatch Friday with our *cough cough* gloomy entry.
