Thankful Thursday

LS:

I'm thankful for a breather yesterday. Although a short one, it's really refreshing. At times that's all we need, isn't it?

Remember the cat and the kittens? They reappeared again at a nearby exit staircase. In a box this time. I'm not really a cat person but I must admit I was glad and relieved to see them. They have been at the back of my mind ever since they disappeared. I'm thankful to know they are fine.

The mother cat has been getting lots of cat food from neighbouring office mates. It's a funny sight to see bowls and containers of food and water at the entrance of some offices. But at the same time, it's certainly a warm sight, knowing that there are people who care. I'm thankful for that.

The kittens are growing really fast.

Aren't they adorable?

Happy:

I'm thankful for thoughtful friends who have been sending us lovely cards. A big thank you! LS and I know how busy everyone can be, particularly in this holidays season. But knowing that everyone took the time and effort to share and spread the joy and cheer of this season is so heartwarming. This is a lot to be thankful for, isn't it?

Hope everyone is having a thankful time!

Thankful Thursday is hosted at Grace Alone.

Hi Happy,
Whew.. glad to see that the kittens and their mom are ok. Did I ever tell you I had to share my bed and food with a kitten when I was a young puppy? She (the kitten) bullied me BIG time...

The cats remind Mummy of the stray cat that her family adopted before. I didn't have the chance to meet the cat but I heard he died at the carpark and Mummy's family didn't even get to see his body. They only found out when the cat didn't return home for a few days and one of the neighbours told them the bad news.

I'm glad the cats are safe and sound.

Oh my golly! I'm just glad I don't have any idea where those kittens are. The spotted one (I though polka dots!) one is absolutely precious. I'd snatch that one up in a heartbeat. What a blessing and how I pray they find good homes! Have a blessed Christmas.

I'm not a cat person either, but my daugher rescued a kitten. I love Miss. Lilly now. The photos are adorable and I'm so glad they are safe. What a wonderful, caring group of people that surround you. Not surprising to me at all, given your kindness and compassion.
