Unexpected Visitor

Recently a stranger landed at our backyard.

Before I could safely give entry clearance, he flew past me into our house.

Hey stop!

Where are you?

You can't just barge in like that!

Of all the nerve!

Playing hide and seek?

I don't think so.

A terrier is going to get you.

Maybe not. Think I need some flying lessons. How do you catch these winged intruders?

Have a great weekend everybody!

You sure are kind, I think you could have squashed it if you really wanted to.

Abby likes to dawdel at the door so they can come on in, and then Rosie quickly hunts them down.

i hate those winged creatures too Happy! I just think that they look creepy when they crawl about and stuff. Im proud to say that you handled the situation pretty well. Were impressed.

just between you and me, I got my hands (and snout) on a praying mantis too some weeks ago. and believe me the hoomans were not too thrilled.

drooly kisses,

Aki

Gosh, you're brave, Happy! Bugs like that usually have my human shrieking and me running for cover! :-)
