Thankful Thursday

We hope everyone is having a thankful time this week.

LS:

A simple thankful post this week. I'm thankful for all the seasons in life. And we sure do have a lot of seasons, don't we? Well, these seasons have made me more appreciative and humble. I'm also thankful for the difficult lessons I'm still learning: not to wait for the storms to pass, and learn to dance in the rain. Hope I'll graduate in time to come.

I would've preferred only one good season but LS said that'll make life dull. Today I'm finding it rather difficult to do a thankful post as I've just found out earlier that we've lost a dear friend, Gizmo. As much as I'm sad, I am thankful for the chance to learn and glimpse into the world through Gizmo's eyes. And what a wonderful world that is.

A candle for you, dear Gizmo.

Flashback Wednesday

Here's another trip down memory lane...

Unc Et is one of my favourite people. He's always full of funny stories and antics. He'll always have a round of ball game with me whenever he comes to visit.

Once both of us attempted a mini football match right inside the house. At one time he accidentally kicked the ball too hard and it knocked over my water bowl in the kitchen. Incidentally LS and Aunt Sh were in the kitchen at that time. They turned to look at us but only saw Unc Et standing there alone. I was nowhere to be seen.

I know when to disappear when there's trouble. Don't you?

Looks like there are plenty of awards going around. Ever since we've started blogging, we find that it feels like Christmas in here all year round! There is so much of giving and receiving... and it makes all of us feel so warm and loved, right? This in itself is so much to be thankful for.
