Thankful Thursday

Hosted by Iris

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot" Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

We hope everyone is having a thankful time this week.

LS:

A simple thankful post this week. I'm thankful for all the seasons in life. And we sure do have a lot of seasons, don't we? Well, these seasons have made me more appreciative and humble. I'm also thankful for the difficult lessons I'm still learning: not to wait for the storms to pass, and learn to dance in the rain. Hope I'll graduate in time to come.

Happy:

I would've preferred only one good season but LS said that'll make life dull. Today I'm finding it rather difficult to do a thankful post as I've just found out earlier that we've lost a dear friend, Gizmo. As much as I'm sad, I am thankful for the chance to learn and glimpse into the world through Gizmo's eyes. And what a wonderful world that is.

A candle for you, dear Gizmo.

Thank you for my award, Happy! I love Autumn, it's my favorite season, even if it does mean the swimming pools are closed until next year!

Thanks again.

LS : Learning to dance in the rain is a hard lesson indeed but may God help us to do so as we remember His sovereignty and love. It is a comfort that He is with us and working all things for His glory and our good :) Take care!

Happy : I am sorry to hear about your loss. Glad you have had a good friendship with Gizmo. Thank God for giving you a thankful heart despite the loss. Take care!

Hi Happy,
Thanks for always reminding us that we should be thankful for what we have rather than whinge about what we do not have. Sometimes I slip into the whingey mode and complain about life, when instead I should be thankful for it.
Have a lovely weekend..

The Mommy loves the autumn the best when it cool enough to stay outside with me in the evenings and I do too becuase there is nothing better than been with the Mommy. We will miss Gizmo too but the Mommy said he is with all our DWB friends at the bridge and she bets there are having bunches of fun.

Happy,

You make some of the best things to be thankful for. I forget how much my human loves me and tend to be demanding.

So I am thankful for my human always paying attention to my demandingness!

Sorry I haven't been around to check on you and all, but you know...humans, blah, blah, blah...

Slurp!
