Pink Ribbon Month

October is internationally known as Breast Cancer Month. The Pink Ribbon is the official trademark of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

I hope I'm not too late in doing my bit in creating more awareness of the Pink Ribbon. At the very least, it serves as a reminder to myself. This comes after losing people I know and of many others who lost their lives to breast cancer.

In memory of a good friend's mother who lost her battle with breast cancer.

I lost my aunt to breast cancer. It's hard to see people you love suffering, isn't it?

Well...thanks for highlighting this. Must get Shann to go for checkup.

Didn't know that ET. It must be hard for you, huh? Can only take comfort that they no longer suffer after that. A release.

hey serendipity...great to read that you are also a pink ribbon supporter! :) I've started to wear a pink ribbon this year in the month of Oct :) Dont worry, I'll remind you next year :)

Hey ET, sorry to hear bout your aunt. As serenedipity said, we take comfort that they no longer have to suffer :(

Its a pity that eventhough 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, many people are still not aware of the seriousness of this disease. If detected early,no life need to be lost. :(

Keep up the good work serenedipity!!!
