Thankful Thursday

Hosted at Grace Alone

"With man, this is impossible, but with God all things are possible"
Matthew 19:26

LS :

Once again, this week I'm thankful for the time to do a post. Sorry I have not been around to visit much lately. Things are a bit rough at the moment. Even right now I'm struggling with this post as it is. LOL! Not sure why my blogger page keep getting disconnected after every other sentence I typed. I have no problem with other websites though. Hmm...Any idea?

I've been at the receiving end of plenty of monkey wrenches lately. This morning I had a rather testy time dealing with some people. I have to admit I was ready to throw back a couple of wrenches. LOL! Oops! Then out of the blue these words popped into my mind.

"If life throws you monkey wrenches, tighten nuts and bolts with them"

I'm sure we all have heard of the saying "when life hands us lemons, make lemonades out of them". Right, but I don't have a creative mind and I'm never good with words. So where did that come from?

Something to be thankful for. A reminder to stay in perspective and change my focus. I felt quite a lot better now. I'm thankful for this. So I'm going to find out what I can do with the monkey wrench.

Happy:

I'm thankful the diapers were finally off few days back. Phew! I'm also thankful that LS brought back some lamb chops for dinner few days ago. She's been giving me some of it. Yummy! Now I'm eyeing the extra leftover gravy. Do you like lamb chops?

Hope everyone is having a thankful time!

LS & Happy...blessings...it is so good to hear from you minus the monkey wrenches messing up your thankful Thursday! I'm thankful you
were able to post! I missed you both but look at all your visitors each TT! I think the last time I was here I saw you two had 72 comments! Awesome! I'm glad Happy that you're done with diapers & being spoiled again...or just loved alot! I know alot of "Nuts" that need tightening but you really should "bolt" out of those nasty people's testy problems and let them deal alone with stuff and maybe they'll be thankful instead of testy the next time. Hope you enjoy some lemonade! With God all things are possible! Hope we see you sooner than later! Take good care or let God take care! Woofs from all of us...Chimi, Chiqui, Chispa, Toby & Bravo...that's me Chiqui in the photo with my mom...
spitting image of my dad only light colored like my mom...Have not done DOT for all October...miss all the critters! But they are putting on the ritz in costumes & we 5 don't do that!!!

I have not been able to do much visiting too. Still learning to pace myself.

Matthew 19:26 is very encouraging and comforting. Thanks for sharing with us. May God bless you with a very restful and refreshing weekend and Lord's day. Take care!
