Driving Miss Happy

Going for car rides is one of my favourites; next to eating, antagonizing LS, barking, sleeping....erm...the list goes on.

So when LS said we are going for a car ride, I was so excited.

Can I drive this time? Can I? Can I?

Driver's seat - empty.
Does that mean I get to drive?

Guess not...I'm still in stuck in the same old carrier.
This is me sticking out my tongue in protest.

Why aren't we dogs allowed to drive? I'm sure we make good drivers. We rarely get lost. We don't need road signs and maps as we have excellent inbuilt tracking system.

Don't you think so?

Hi, Happy...

I love to go in the car, too...Except when it takes me to the "Spa" or the Vet...

When we went to the Ocean, my Dad kept asking me if I wanted to drive, but I think he was just teasing, cuz he never let me...

First, I got to sit on my mom's lap while she was driving--at least to the end of the driveway. Maybe one day I can drive by myself. I'm almost old enough for a learner's permit! I hope you get a change to drive soon. It's waaay different from riding.

Oh Happy, do you think your feet would reach the pedals? I like to sit in the driver seat if my owners leave me in the car, I pretend I'm driving.

Our human has run several stories about dogs driving, but they didn't have very happy endings. she just says, "See? dogs can not drive."

We've both sat in the drivers seat before but we've never turned the key in the ignition! It's so unfair! You're so right, Happy!

Happy,
I don't think you can see over the steering wheel! But then again, neither can the old ladies....so what's the difference? Good luck!

Too cute! My girls (my 80 pound sweethear and 6 pound puppy) love to ride. They are so good in the car, like little ladies. If they drove, they would get so distracted by the smells of good food....lots of side trips.

We wouldn't we be able to drive 'cause we're too short for the pedals. If you can work that out, you should be able to drive!

I try to drive....from behind mom's neck (while she's driving). She keeps scolding me that it's not safe, but no matter.....I still climb up there!

I dunno, but I like to drive, too, and I always sit in the Mum's driver seat when she is not in it. But then the car isn't moving, either!

I like your carrier. It looks cozy. I have to wear a seatbelt when I'm in the seat!

I think you need your own Happymobile! I'll be your co-pilot.

Louie always jumps into Dad seat when we stop somewhere but he isn't allowed to drive either. He doesn't have a license yet... Just a rabbi tag.. That isn't considered a license is it??

Hi Happy, why can't we drive. You are so right, we would make excellent drivers! And we do have an excellent tracking system built in. No way would I need the stoopid navigation that Dad has in the car. We need to fight for our right to drive!

Kirby

I agree with you Happy!
We'd make excellent drivers! Except maybe some of us would need a higher seat to see.
Have a great day!

I think you're right Happy! We have to go in the cars all the time, we should get to drive some. Only mom would have to help me, I don't think my feet would reach the thangs under the steering wheel!
